Quantity Surveyors
Our cost consultants have an established experience of managing the traditional professional skills of quantity surveying and with the guidance of a barrister provide claims preparation, quantum and expert evidence in all aspects associated with cost consultancy.
Building Surveyors
Building surveyors employed by the firm are Regulated by the RICS and provide expert diagnosis of building fabric issues, advice developing an estate strategy, expert witness reports, project monitoring support, valuations and building survey reports.
Delay Analysts
We provide consultants to interpret construction programmes, advise on the logic of contractual programmes, utilise certain software in order to replicate the events in accordance with contractual programmes and manipulate the programmes to evidence the obliged mitigating events which should have been implemented and thereby would have benefited either party; with a combination of these skills and experience, based on the premise of a common sense approach, our findings are then presented in the form of an expert report.
Our Philosophy
Templar Consultants was formed after the founder had attained the dual qualification of chartered surveyor and barrister, combined with 20 years working in the construction and legal sectors, whilst working for Central government, NHS Trusts, high wealth private clients, Social Landlords, the Crown Estate, family property Trusts, Universities, Building Contractors, Architects, and Building Consultancy practices.
Templar Consultants has the knowledge in-house and may easily assemble a bespoke team from adjudication, procurement, contract management, quantum, surveying, estate strategy and time experts from a panel of associates.
Unique to many competitors we also have established agreements with associates who are expert in each of the array of matters found with complex contracts which means we can always react immediately to a client and ensure we apply the best skills to the matter.
It is a fundamental pride in the quality of service provided to our clients that necessitate all matters are processed by equity partners, and when appropriate for those partners to work on specific matters personally.
Tanzanian Art Charity Trust
TACT is now in the process of being established as a charitable Trust with the purpose to propagate ideas in art so as to benefit people in the United Kingdom and Tanzania.
The articles of memorandum to obtain charitable status with the Charities Commission in the UK and similar status in Tanzania are pending approval.
The Trust intends to use art as a stimulus to exchange ideas and experiences between British and Tanzanian citizens.
Projects in Tanzania and the UK will be supported on a discretionary basis.
Projects are intended to benefit the education, development and understanding between Tanzania and the UK, with art as the catalyst.
Templar Consultants supports TACT by providing advice whilst it establishes full charitable status, develops a strategy to achieve its purpose, financing, fund raising and continual promotion of the purpose of TACT.
The initial concept for TACT has developed from the combined interest and experience of Adam Mazalla-Tomlinson and Aileen Mazalla-Tomlinson, both of Templar Consultants, in art as a method of therapy, education, developing ideas, fundraising and life in Tanzania.
A board of Trustees is to be appointed and all details and future events will be publicised on this website.
